Thursday Afternoon

Good afternoon, everyone!

Here's Sophie eating breakfast this morning...

Here we are at the world famous Harbin Polarland Aquarium!

We started with a wonderful sea lion show - Sophie loved it!

We went through the aquarium, saw a ton of fish, some penguins, a couple of polar bears, and some sharks!

Sophie was jumping, kicking, pointing, and smiling the whole way through.

We got her a balloon dolphin at a shop early on, and then a very soft stuffed white whale at the end of the tour.

We figured out how to make Sophie's baby carrier bigger, and were able to use it today. It worked great!

After the aquarium, we went to Pizza Hut for lunch. As you can probably guess what I'll say next - it wasn't like Pizza Hut in the States.

It wasn't bad, but the pizza had no tomato sauce at all - we even asked (with the help of a young lady also dining there) for a side of marinara - and they didn't have any on the premises! At a Pizza Hut!

Sophie ate some sausage, cheese, and crust, as well as some garlic bread - she didn't seem to like the apple juice that we got her though. We'll try again later.

After lunch we went to a real live Walmart in downtown Harbin.

W picked up some more water, some bigger shoes, some more chocolate, and some rubber duckies for Sophie's bath time here.

Everyone was pooped, so we came back to the hotel room so the girls can take their afternoon nap.

Tonight I'll be taking some pictures of downtown Harbin, then we need to get ready to head out tomorrow afternoon, when we leave for Guangzhou. We're at the half way point - we'll be back home in a little over a week!

Talk to you all later!

Good Morning!!! I see that Sophie is already an expert Wal-Mart shopper - I bet I can still teach her a few things as my Sen-sae was Grandma Charlotte. I am so glad that bath time is getting better. I will keep you in my prayers and continuing to pray about her visa.
Love you all!!

We love all the pictures of Sophie, but we were also so glad you sent that great close up picture of Stacy! That new Mommy glow shines accross her face. But I bet you haven't stopped smiling since you got her. It looks like Larry got quite a workout at the aquarium I'm glad the carrier worked out and you had a nice time. Get some rest and God Bless.

Walmart - well I guess her fairy godmother is going to have to teach her about Nordstroms when I get a chance. We'll give that girl some loving and class at the same time! Seriously, I'm so glad to see and read all the stuff you're able to do. It's great to see you all as a family - you can't seem to wipe that smile off of your faces. Best of luck and God be with you as you travel to your next destination. Love to all, Fairy Godmother, Sharon

Hooray for Wal-Mart! Glad to see that you are keeping Grandpa Cal and Julie employed!!!! Bradley too! I have to ask....none of the food is the same as in the US, was the Wal-Mart?

Gosh Stacy, you think you going to be able to get all this scrapbooked for Sophie? I think we may have to send Uncle Cory up to help you out!

Keep enjoying the sights, sounds and experiences. The paperwork will fall into place, you have way too many people with too many powerful prayers being lifted for it not to!

My love, Julie
